Keri Bortz is an adult and gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She joined Family Medicine of Clifton and Centreville in 2021.
Keri brings experience in primary care, long-term care, chronic disease management, and hospice and palliative care in the home, facility and hospital settings. She incorporates a desire to help people through health promotion and chronic disease management. Keri enjoys working with the geriatric population and possesses great interpersonal communication skills to build positive patient-and-provider relationships and provide primary healthcare in clinic and patient homes.

Dr. Janine Brown is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine. She has been practicing at Family Medicine of Clifton/Centreville since 2004.
Dr. Brown currently serves as the chair of the Credentials Committee at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and previously served as Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. She serves on the Board of Directors for Fairfax Family Practice Centers. Dr. Brown enjoys practicing full spectrum family medicine with special interests in babies and children, women’s health, sports medicine and obesity medicine. She also enjoys teaching medical students. She is also a certified Life Coach with The Life Coach School.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons and, as an Ohio native, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes football. She enjoys running, has completed several half marathons, likes to travel and is a huge fan of all things Disney.

Dr. Lenore Day is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She has been practicing since 1993.
Dr. Day has a special interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. When not at work, Dr. Day loves spending time with her family which includes her husband, two children and two yellow labs. She enjoys skiing, cycling, reading, and cheering for her Green Bay Packers.

Dr. Emily Faltemier is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She has been practicing since 2007.
Dr. Faltemier enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine – babies, children, women’s health, adult medicine and office procedures. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She also likes gardening, cooking and being involved with the kids’ activities.

Dr. Maureen Filak-Allen is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She has been practicing since 2016.
Dr. Filak-Allen grew up in Clifton, VA. She has been involved with the practice for many years prior to medical school and was excited to work alongside her dad as a family physician. She enjoys traveling, running/hiking, the beach, photography, painting, DIY projects, and spending time with family – her husband and two amazing kids.

Dr. Michael Filak is a board-certified physician. He is US Navy trained and after seven years in the US Navy, joined Fairfax Family Practice in 1987.
Dr. Filak is a co-founder of the Family Medicine of Clifton/Centreville office and has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine for more than 25 years. Dr. Filak enjoys spending time with his wife, four daughters and nine grandchildren. He has been an active volunteer at Centreville High School for more than 25 years, served with the US Public Health Service after Hurricane Katrina and spends two weeks every year volunteering in a rural community in the mountains of Honduras.

Dr. Michael Hartman is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He joined Family Medicine of Clifton/Centreville in 2020 and has been practicing since 2009.
Beyond practicing medicine, Dr. Hartman enjoys spending time with his college sweetheart and their four kids. He is also an avid flag football player, enjoys running adventure races and entertaining friends and family.

Dr. Oladapo Olarinde is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He has been practicing since 2009.
Dr. Olarinde spends all of his free time with his wife and three daughters. He grew up in Springfield, VA, and enjoys reading. He is an avid football fan and loves watching the Washington Football Team.

Dr. Julie Overholtzer is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. She has been practicing since 1987 and has been with FMCC since 1990.
Dr. Overholtzer likes to cook, read, travel and spend time with her family and poodle, Oogie.
She will be retiring from Practice in October 2025.

Dr. Rex Ruiz is a board-certified family physician. He has been practicing at Family Medicine of Clifton/Centreville since 1999.
Dr. Ruiz is bilingual in Spanish and English and advocates not only for the health of his Latino patients but also for all of Northern Virginia’s diverse communities. He practices the full range of family medicine from children to adults and the elderly. He has recently become interested in telehealth.
Dr. Ruiz enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. They are active in their faith community.

Dr. Tam Tran is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine and a future candidate for obesity medicine board certification.
Dr. Tran is fluent in Vietnamese. He enjoys spending time watching TV shows/anime and playing video games with his wife, Kayla, and newborn daughter, Evelyn. He also enjoys exploring various culinary cultures, long walks, and traveling with his family. Dr. Tran’s family also consists of two loving cats and two playful dogs.
