Liz Boettke, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience caring for patients in the emergency department setting prior to transitioning into primary care. Her clinical background has provided her with extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care. She is passionate about helping patients achieve long-term wellness through preventive medicine and sustainable lifestyle changes. Originally from Northern Virginia, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, family, and friends outside of work. Her hobbies include reading, trying new fitness classes, traveling, exploring local coffee shops, and staying active outdoors. She also speaks conversational Spanish and enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds

Clinical Interests: Liz’s clinical interests include weight management, nutrition, exercise counseling, hormone therapy, and preventive health. She enjoys partnering with patients to create individualized treatment plans that focus on improving overall health, energy, and quality of life.
Education
She earned her undergraduate degree in Science of Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech, later completed her nursing degree at George Mason University, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
