Dr. Jeffrey Cohn is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He has been practicing since 2000. He has a special interest in sports medicine and pediatrics as well as preventive medicine.
Dr. Cohn currently lives in the Broadlands community with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Fox is a board-certified family medicine physician providing comprehensive primary care. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2012 and completed his residency at Fairfax Family Practice in 2015. Since then, he has been practicing with Broadlands Family Practice. Dr. Fox is passionate about caring for patients of all ages and has a particular interest in preventive care and evidence-based medicine.
A native of Aldie, Va., Dr. Fox now resides in Herndon with his wife, two daughters, their goldendoodle, and a crested gecko. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, building with Legos, completing jigsaw puzzles, and cheering on Washington sports teams.
Jenna Goffe, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined Broadlands Family Practice in 2021. She began practicing in 2019, with prior experience in cardiology in Manassas, Va. Jenna brings a strong background in both acute and chronic care, with clinical interests in preventive medicine, cardiovascular health, and women’s health.
She lives in Fairfax, Va. with her husband and two young children.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running, and exploring local restaurants and farmer’s markets.
Cathy Haugen, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Broadlands Family Practice in 2025. With over 17 years of healthcare experience spanning critical care, cardiac, and perioperative settings, she brings a wealth of clinical expertise to her role. Cathy is passionate about primary care, preventive health, and nutrition, and provides comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, traveling with family and friends, and cheering on The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Dr. Lindsey Purcell is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been practicing since 2019. She joined Broadlands Family Practice in 2022 and is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Dr. Purcell completed her residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University–Fairfax Family Medicine Residency Program in Fairfax, Va.
Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys yoga, gymnastics, supporting shelter animals, and volunteering with the Special Olympics.
Amy Oppelt, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in primary care. She has been practicing since 2013 and joined Broadlands Family Practice in 2019.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog, Blue. She especially enjoys playing tennis, biking, and cheering on the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Dr. K. Michael Rodriguez is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He has been practicing medicine since 2000.
Prior to co-founding Broadlands Family Practice, Dr. Rodriguez was an electrical engineer with special interest in microelectronics. Upon graduation from medical school, he served as the Chief Administrative Resident at Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives in Broadlands, Va., with his wife and two sons.
Outside of work, Dr. Rodriguez is a licensed private pilot and enjoys cooking and sports of all kinds.
Dr. Natasha Simmons-Wyllie is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been practicing since 2004. She joined Broadlands Family Practice in 2012 and is dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
Her clinical interests include preventive care and complementary medicine. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Simmons-Wyllie now resides in Lansdowne, Va., with her husband and two children.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in the community, traveling with family and friends, and attending music concerts and sporting events.
Dr. Derek Yang is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been practicing since 2009. Before joining Broadlands Family Practice, he served as Chief Administrative Resident at Virginia Commonwealth University. A Northern Virginia native, Dr. Yang values the opportunity to care for members of the community. He has a strong clinical interest in preventive care, fitness, and metabolic health.
Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys cycling—whether on the road, gravel, or mountain trails—distance running, exploring local coffee spots, gardening, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Orit Bekri Yonis, NP, brings over 20 years of healthcare experience, with a background in intensive care, cardiac care, and high-risk perinatal care. Since becoming a licensed Nurse Practitioner in 2021, she has worked in both Assisted Living and Primary Care settings. Orit joined Broadlands Family Practice in February 2025 and is passionate about family medicine, advanced nursing practice, and cardiology. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, she enjoys international travel, outdoor activities, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and three children in South Riding.
