Laboratory Services: Most laboratory blood draws and specimen collections can be performed during your appointment. For anything else, you can call the office and schedule a separate lab appointment. We do not take walk-ins for lab draws. 

Please note: Our lab drawing and processing is exclusively for our patients, and to ensure accuracy, we are unable to process orders written by other doctors outside of our practice. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Samantha Chang, PA, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has provided compassionate, patient-centered care since 2013. A Florida native, she earned her Health Science degree from the University of Florida and completed her PA master’s at Nova Southeastern University. 

She began her career in primary care in Florida before relocating to Virginia in 2015. Since 2019, she has been a valued member of Stone Springs Family Medicine. Samantha enjoys building lasting patient relationships and supporting lifelong wellness. Outside of work, she leads an active life with her husband and children, enjoying coaching, running, and team sports.

Christina L. Denton, MSN FNP

Specialty: Family Nurse Practitioner

Christina Denton is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive healthcare services. She graduated with her RN in 2016 which led to work experiences in family medicine, inpatient psychiatry, and forensic nursing. 

She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from George Washington University, graduating in 2022. Christina is committed to delivering patient-centered care, emphasizing preventive health and wellness. Her experience and advanced education enable her to effectively manage a wide range of health conditions, ensuring her patients receive the highest quality of care. 

She is committed to making a positive impact on her patients’ lives and contributing to the overall wellbeing of her community.

When not working, she is busy spending time with her family, both human and furry.

Irving J Hwang, MD

Dr. Irving Hwang is a dedicated family medicine physician with over 23 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. A Fairfax, Virginia native, he is proud to serve his community at Stone Springs Family Medicine. 

Dr. Hwang earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He has special interests in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Hwang values long-term relationships and empowers patients to take an active role in their health and wellness.

Dr. Nail Miakhel is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been serving patients at Stone Springs Family Medicine since 2019. He is passionate about preventive care, promoting healthy lifestyles, and managing chronic conditions. 

Dr. Miakhel provides compassionate, evidence-based care and encourages patients to take an active role in their health decisions. 

Dr. Miakhel lives in Ashburn, Va., with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys family activities, hiking, sports, and community service.

Anu V. Patel, MD

Dr. Anu Patel is a board-certified family medicine physician with over a decade of experience providing compassionate, personalized care. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua and completed her residency at Riverside Family Medicine, where she was named “Intern of the Year” and served as Chief Resident. 

Dr. Patel is a strong advocate for preventive care and building long-term patient relationships. In addition to her clinical practice, she mentors medical students as an Associate Clinical Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. Outside of work, she enjoys reading fiction and spending quality time with her family.

Niala Saeed, PA

Niala Saeed, PA-C, is a nationally board-certified physician assistant with 17 years of experience in primary care and occupational health. She earned her master’s in physician assistant studies from Alderson Broaddus University in 2006. Niala has practiced in both Virginia and California, with a focus on women’s health, diabetes management, and behavioral health. 

She emphasizes patient education and preventive care in her approach. Niala is also an NRCME-certified medical examiner, qualified to perform DOT exams. Recently relocated from California, she is excited to serve the Stone Springs community. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, children, and cat.

Prabhjot Kaur, PA-C

Specialty: Physician Assistant Clinical Interests: Primary Care, Preventative Disease Care, Orthopedics and Musculoskeletal Care

Prabhjot Kaur, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant and a Northern Virginia native. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her Physician Assistant studies at Temple University in 2024. Before becoming a PA, she worked as a medical assistant in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, where she gained hands-on experience and a passion for musculoskeletal care and injury prevention, which she continues to integrate into her primary care practice. 

She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her patients and takes a collaborative, holistic approach to medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her dog, running, and exploring new foods and restaurants. She believes in maintaining an active, well-rounded lifestyle and encourages her patients to do the same.

Andrew Mazur, DPT

Specialty: Physical Therapy
Years of Experience: 20+

Andrew is a licensed physical therapist with over two decades of experience, specializing in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Originally from Niagara Falls, N.Y., he holds a BA in Social Science, a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. 

His clinical focus includes back and shoulder rehab, sports injuries, and aquatic therapy. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Andrew also is trained in fascial taping. A former Army officer and triathlete, he enjoys cycling, martial arts, and helping patients reach their physical therapy goals.

Professional Education: Shenandoah University, DPT
