Dr. Derek Yang is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been practicing since 2009. Before joining Broadlands Family Practice, he served as Chief Administrative Resident at Virginia Commonwealth University. A local northern Virginia resident, Dr. Yang values the opportunity to care for members of the community. He has a strong clinical interest in preventive care, fitness, and metabolic health. Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys cycling—whether on the road, gravel, or mountain trails—distance running, exploring local coffee spots, gardening, and spending time outdoors with his family.
